Blast From the Past X

Heya! Here I am! I am still around! This is my last year of school and so it is very very busy. That means I won't have time to update this journal very often.. I will do it every now and then though, as you see here.
I'll just give you a quick update. I lost some weight, gained some skills, and the stage combat license I got looks like this:

We are also to meet Kevin Spacey again in about two weeks, as hee is going to teach an Audition Class.

It is now time for a very special Blast from the past;
Blast From the Past X (10)
I checked out my old -helgon diary and picked out a few entries to posthere, for people who were not yet reading about my adventures on the British isles at the time. Here goes:

Holy wow
20/11 04
This school is more than I bargined for. I mean.. drama school.. I would expecty some movement and some drama stuff.. but the technique of learning drama here is IMMENSE! Advanced psychology of how to.. hmm.. damn.. I can’t even explain it.. but it’s really cool.
And the yoga and the acrobatics.. I can do some freaky shit now that I couldn’t before.

England is a weird palce though...
Blind people get 50% off the TV license fee. Great!

The school takes up most of my life... but it’s all good. I get to act quite a bit, and it’s a lot of fun! I am about to go practise walking on stilts.. I’m going to play a really tall monk.

Tootles.. or something.

Sneaking? Sneaking!
23/01 05
What-ho? People whose identity is unknownst to me have read my diary!
What is this! Strangers in my house? Shrouded shadows of oblivion haunting my documented past?
It’s not that I am against people reading my diary.. If I did I would be quite a stupidass motherfucker for putting it on the internet. But I would like for people I don’t know or haven’t spoken to for a long time to drop a line in my mailbox or guestbook upon readin up on who I am.
Would be nice.. just sayin’
And if you don’t want to.. that’s ok I guess... but.. well. BURN IN HELL!
nono.. I’m sorry.. I am so very very.. FUCK YOU!
no! bad me! bad me!
Really, I am flattered that people want to know about lil’ old me, but don’t be shy.. say hello!
Bye!

Dear diary
24/01 05
Today I wrote ”dear diary” in my diary, and thus drastically lost 20 masculinity points. Damn.

2 Seconds
25/01 05
Is that a long time.. or a short time?
I suppose that depends on what you are doing. If it takes 2 seconds to paint a house it’s pretty fucking fast. Then again if it takes 2 seconds for a fallen object to hit the floor, it’s very very slow. or high up.
But.. Today I did an unsupported handstand lasting for 2 seconds. Rising from 0, it is quite a bit.

Skol-Akademin
26/01 05
So the school is changing names... The principal died and his daughter took over. There’s going to be a few changes. The name will no longer be ”The School of the Science of Acting”, but ”The Academy of the Science of Acting and Directing”
There will be more focus on film, and TV work. Also they will hire more famous people in the profession to come and hold some workshop classes and give advice. We will also get to talk to casting agents and stuff.
There is also talk about doing short film projects, and collabortaing with other schools on them (for producers, editors etc)

We had our last Alexander Technique today. We only did 6 classes (we were only supposed to do one but it proved to be so great they decided to go on for a bit) I have suggested to put it on the schedule as a normal class because I see how great it could be for the profession of an actor to be skilled in the Alexander Technique. That and we had a really cool teacher. Fumiaki Tanaka. Japanese guy with long hair. To learn something physical is always cooler if the teacher is japanese. My own Mr. Myiagi. Only this guy was younger than Mr Myiagi. And had long hair... in a ponytail.. He looked like a fighter from an anime. I bet he’s some sort of superhero.
I hope they listen to our pleading and bring him and his teachings back to the school to stay.
After a class of AT I end up an inch taller... it’s only temporary but it’s pretty fucking cool.

Oh my god this entry is getting long! I must stop soon before I-

The Kev from Space
04/02 05
We’re going to see Kevin Spacey! Yay! As an education thingie for the school.
We’re going to see a play he is in, and then we will talk to him and the director. That rocks.
Did a good rehersal today.. Ben’s play is funny... I hope he does turn it into a short film.
I have Swedish Greve cheese in school... Claire said it was in one of her dreams the other night. so I just said ”What, you’re dreaming of my cheese?” and everyone laughed.
As we say in Sweden... Konstigt.

Laradidida dada dada
10/02 05
I am da Waltz Mazta! Ph33r my |337 Waltz skillz!

And I tried a new crisp flavour today (chips smak for all you Swedish bretheren)

Pickled Onion

It tasted worse than crap.
I had one, then gave the rest to Kyle.
He agreed with me... then he ate them all. Silly Americans.

I am spiderman... no more.
28/02 05
It is done.
My hair is in a plastic bag by my bed.
It is weird, I tell you.
Really strange. I will meditate to make it grow faster.
My head is unprotected!

Word of the day
30/05 05
Swedish word of the day that needs no Swedish characters.: Saltgurka.

Notice: This entry does not in any way imply that the author of this diary has any liking for pickles. Because I don’t.

The secret of loosing weight.
31/05 05
Going to a physically demanding school with an empty wallet has made me lose a lot of my excess weight. People ask me ”What is your secret?”

Come on people!
You want to know the secret? Do you really want to know what the secret is?
Ok, here it is.
The secret to loosing weight is to stop looking for a fucking secret!
There is no secret way of easy weight loss!
Work your ass off, and your ass will come off! Simple!

Im ok
07/07 05 (the day of the London bombings)
Just thought I’d get the word out in case people were worrying. I’m not blown to bits so far.

Another thing.. What makes this blast from the past special.. A memorial.

Fiolvägen 9, my old childhood home is no longer in the family. It was a beatiful house and it was good to me. But it is time to move on. Time for the house to be good to another family and for me to move towards my future.

Good bye old friend. I'll come visit you some day.

Do not think this is all doom and gloom. Leaving the past is the only thing that can bring us to a great future. Always respect and remember your past... But do not live in it.

Dr. Hank McCoy

Yes, I could have written this entry sooner. The reason I didn't: I was waiting for pictures of two events that I could show here. For a long time, I had only, and have still only recieved the pictures of one of them. And not even all of those. Oh well, I'll just give you these for now.
These are of the costume party I went to as Dr. Hank McCoy, AKA Beast of X-Men. And I recieved the award for best costume. A bottle of Champagne. In some time I will have better pictures of said costume, but for now I'll give you the ones I have.

Here he is. Dr. Hank MacCoy. People said they expected me to growl and roar. I am fond of growling and roaring, but in character, I couldn't. Hank would never act like that at a party! Come on!
How do you like crossovers? X-Men vs Brave -heart? hmm... Not sure it would work... Adrian played William Wallace. Not sure who Pernille is supposd to be, but that is not her regular outfit.
Now here is a crossover that could actually work! Ben Willens as Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, looking at me like I was a scary drug-induced hallucination. Lucky for him the worst Hank would ever do to him in the situation would be to give a "just say no" speech.

Hank and William later took a walk through central London that night. People were amazed, I managed to gather up quite a big group of X-Men fans who worshipped me. Some worshipped Braveheart as well. Lots of people took pictures.. and a car suddenly stoped next to us and a Japanese guy stuck his head out yelling "Beast! Beast!" That was fun.
I will have more pictures of this costume later.. along with the pictures from the play we put up a couple of weeks ago, where you among other things will get to see me wielding a monkey-wrench while entoxicated with pure wrath. Always save the cats!

The story so far.

Here I am again. Quick recap! Went to Sweden, worked, met friends, celebrated midsummer, missed the flight to England, stayed a day in Gothernburg (thanks, guys) went a day later than planned, came to England, started working on the play, got on a de-tox and have thus far not eaten for seven days.

Yes that was very quick, but I can't be arsed to write a book about it. I'll show you some pictures, mm'kay?

Oh and as promised you can now see the clip of me getting my stagecombat License. It is a rather big mpeg so I suggest you right-click on it and save file as. Here it is!

I have also got my domain now. www.petersunnergren.com. It will have my CV and stuff on it. Not done yet but the design is shaping up. I also created sub-domains that lead here. You can now get to this journal through http://journal.petersunnergren.com or http://dagbok.petersunnergren.com.

If yóu know Swedish, also check out http://kokbok.petersunnergren.com. Best idea ever!

I am on this de-tox now.. and man, I feel great! Haven't eaten for seven days and I feel just amazing! Everything about me just got better. All I try to do is now easier, be it physical, intellectual or mental. I feel like a proper superhero!

Ok the pictures...

License to kill

Well.. License to pretend to kill anyway. I now have a stage/film combat license! Yay me! I passed the exam. I'll show you some pictures of the exam. Sorry about the quality. the pictures are captured from DV footage and I didn't have time to de-interlace. Better quality will follow in a future entry.. and maybe even a film clip!

Me punching Alex. I play the villain by the way.

Avoiding one of Alex's punches. Ain't I swift?

Whops! That could have ended badly!

About to throw another punch.

Do I look villainy?

Crap! He's got swords!

Then again, so do I.

Yikes!
OK too many piccies for one entry. More later.
I just have to add that Silvy sent me the fossil from her dig! Coolness! You rock Silvy! Hope you find more groovy magical thingies! And hope you have loads of fun! *hugs*
More tomorrow, or in a few days.

Some people walk in worn down shoes

Hey there. Update! I saw Mission Impossible III, We had a voice class in the great outdoors, I went to visit the northern pagans and my shoes are now dead.

M:I:III was a pretty good action flick. Best in the series I would even venture to say. Plus it was great fun to see Eddie shove a bomb up Tom Cruise's nose. Go Eddie!

We had, as mentioned, a voice class in the park. The weather was great and we had a very nice time. I wish we could have more classes in the great outdoors. You get a sense of freedom and wellbeeing. After all we were not meant to spend our lives incased between walls.

I went up[ north to visit the Harrissisess... The Harris family. The number of kittens was steadily increasing. One of them got on my laptop and deleted people of fmy ICQ list. I was.. impressed. They took me to a great big book store where they bought books on sexual magic and drugs. (She said I wouldn't put that info here so I felt I had to stand up to the challange) and I tried a Frappacino coffee in the cafe... Frappacino is a kind of coffee that is acctually a milkshake. Why don't they call it a milkshake? Beats me.
The last day they took me to wales and the big Orm. Piccies!

When going to the busstation we were stuck in traffic.. and were delayed and were about to miss the ride. Luckily.. we saw the bus about to pass us and Gra pulled over and stoped it and I got on. And here I am.

In other news, Silvy has found an untouched 5000 year old grave at an archeological dig! And she is sending me a fossil from it! YAY! *floats a bit*
I can't wait to see what magical secrets I will be able to unlock with an artifact like that in my paws!

And last but not least.. well ok it probably is least.. on my way to the internet cafe, my left shoe died on me. I need to go buy another one.. the back of the sole has droped off.

anyway.. Save the cats!
PS. The challange from the last entry is still unsolved. you still have a chance to win the glory!

See ya!

Fear me!

I have now seen the Producers (the film). It was very ok. It was weird, but funny... Nathan Lane was excellent as always. And people, I have a challange for you... on the DVD (2 Disc edition) I noticed a hidden homage to the Lion King! So hidden the one who put it there might not even know it! If you can find it... and be the first to report it in my guestbook.. You will gain glory beyond your wildest dreams!

Me and Alex are working on our combat scene that we will use to get the Stage fighting License! Once again I play the Evil Villain! Fear me, if you dare! *hiss!*

I am designing a webpage for a healer and in return she is giving me free sessions. It's quite cool and it helps me towards living a healthier lifestyle. If my body is going to be my secondary tool (my brain will be my primary) of my profession, I better start treating it well.
not much more to report today.. Catch you all later! Save the cats!

There is a PS by the way. I realize today's challange might be a bit difficult.. so here is a somewhat cryptic clue!

See ya!

Blast from the Past part 9

It is about time I let you people finally get a hold of Blast From the Past part 9! Yes, last Blast From the Past was a while ago but this one is special. Before I go into it here are some current events.

I bought new shoes.

I went to the cinema and saw Silent Hill. It was pretty good. One of the best videogame-based films I have ever seen in fact. It was less mystrious than the games but I suppose it had to be. Somewhat less terrifying as well, but it's possible that if I saw it alone in a dark room with headphones maybe it would have been different.

It was cool, uncomfortable with a good story, nice mystery and horrible scenes of torture and pain. I especially liked the integration of elements from the games in the storytelling, how it made it feel like the game but without making it feel less like a film. They reused a lot of the music from the games as well, which was an excellent choice in my eyes... ears.

OK.. This Blast From the Past features me in many ages! Pictures you never thought you'd get to see!

Here you go!

This is Linda, Karin and me in the kitchen of Fiolvagen 9!

This is said house. So fresh the paint has not even dried yet. I remember that car. I stole it from dad once when I was two. The person on the right is Linda.
Me Linda and Dad. I just thought this piccie was funny.
Linda and me on a hike! Ahh the memories!

Linda and me again in a cute "little kids looking like animals" picture. And we're nude! Shocking, isn't it?

This is me when I was fourteen. The same year I first saw the Lion King. (Sorry, it had just be too long since I last mentioned the Lion King). You may have noticed there was no picture of my mother.. I suppose she was holding the camera most of the time. I'll find some of her for a later entry.

That's it for today! Save the cats, and stay tuned for more!

See ya!

The Big one.

Heyheyhey everybody! I am back! And due to the late update it will be a BIG update. Last week of school was very busy and so was the two weeks in Sweden. Let's get cracking.

The Director's exam was a lot of fun. 8 pieces were showing and I was in 6 of them. That was the record for this year. Go me! Lots of hard work and I loved every second of it. 6 different charactes, all as different to the others as night and day, and at some points I had 3 minutes to get changed and run to the next set.

The week after we had assesments and more showings. Not much to report there, other than that the Jazz Dance assesment went great and I had some wonderful reportcards and great feedback for my preformance in the exams.

I flew to Sweden and spent a night at the summerplace.. which was covered in snow. I like snow.
Rebecka and Saga made chairs out of snow and sat on the river. Winter can be great if you know what to do with it. More pics of this day at the end of this post.

On the sunday I went to see the oaks, as I do almost every night I spend in Sweden.
To earn some of my keep I took the job at the hospital my dad got me. It would be nice with some time off in the holiday, but I do need the money. Anyway it wasn't very stressful work and I was done with the tasks faster thant they could throw new ones at me. This pic is of the office. The guy is my brother-in-law.

On the weekend I went to the T-Hat and did some partying with the d00ds (and d00dettes).
There was a party at Lars' place and most of the gang was there. And new one.. Anna.. talked, funny that one. Nefus, though.. was.. in Brunei. Meeting some girl he married in World of Warcraft... I saw the wedding video.. Bjorn was the priest. yeah... I also had a quick chat with Janni. she bought me a coke.
Anway, we cought up on some old times and basically goofed off the nice and cozy way only we can goof off. It's nice to know they still love me over there.

At the end of the weekend I spent some with the relatives at the cottage.. and Moffe (the Wonderdog).

Back to work.. By now though I had the game Oblivion in my hands! After four years of aiting.. it acctually did live up to it's expectations! Love it! Just love it! I also have a new nifty phone with an ok camera that can fill this place. Well.. morw work at the hospital.. On the Thursday I went to see the final production of my old drama school! Not only that but on the Friday I went to speak to the students about school in London like I as some really cool important dude.

In the evening me, Karin and the oaks watched seven episodes of Ginga Desnsetsu:Weed with a projector. GREAT anime, GREAT time. I really have to see the rest of this series! But of course it was great, being the sequel to Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (SilverFang).

Saturday, birthday party. Met up with more relatives and had some fun. I also did a headstand for them. they were much impressed. Also spent some more time with Moffe the Wonderdog!

Saturday evening there was a big party at the Oaks'. Marvin's birthday. Me and Karin went over there to party down.. I bit someone's neck.. Karin got completely pissed out of her brains and had to be helped by Jocke. Last but not least, Joanna was jumping up and down while screaming something about being a squirrel. Ahhh.. the M-Town. What can beat it?

Sunday.. Mostly packing and travelling.. I met Mikael from the school at the airport in Sweden and chatted with him on the plane.. The plane landed in London early.. Short line by the border control.. Got the luggage fairly quickly.. A trein was conviniently waiting for ur by the rails.. It was too good I said to Michael.. and I as right.. As I got home.. Leena had locked the extra lock which can only be unlocked from the inside.. and fallen asleep! Nothing would wake her and since my ninjas have moved back to Japan I was locked out!
I went to spend the night at the couch of a schoolmate.
Next day. School. Guess what! I have stage Combat again! I will get the fighting license! I am so happy! Yay me!
When I got home and finally -in- I noticed that Ruriko had left me some gifts.. her leftover food.. the Stereo she can't bring back to Japan.. and.. a tiny Katana in a keyring! So cute! Kawai! Ninas are great!

OK.. Because you had to wait so long for this entry.. here are some more pics from the day I played in the snow with Rebecka and Saga. Click for larger versions.

This one is just funny.
Trace the footprints in the snow behind me.

And this one is just cool.

OK that's all for today. Next Blast From The Past will be really special by the way. Stay tuned.. and Save the Cats!

See ya!
