Another Odd Dream

I had an odd dream last night. All the places had melted together.. I was in Bjorn's and Hannah's apartments.. they were right next to each other, and there was no wall between them.. but they were still different appartments.. It was still school term, but it was ok, because London was just outside even though we were in Trollhattan. I was resting on Hannah's sofa while both Bjorn and Hannah were playing World of Warcraft. I felt a little left outside and wanted to try and play.. There seemed to be a computer free with WoW installed on it, but I didn't know how to play. Luckily, Boris offered to teach me, since Hannah had tought him everything about WoW. For some reason a cat teaching me to play WoW seemed more amazing than the fact that I could talk to cats.
What does this mean?
Oh well. meow.

More Russia pics!
Buncha' commies makin' some sorta' fuzz 'bout summin'
This is a wall.. in a Moscow Subway station. whoa.

Week by week

It has been a week like most weeks. Now I am waiting to show a piece and then to rehearse Shoko's wonderful fairytale in which I play.. well.. me really.. almost... rowr...
By the way, Conny, as response to your... blog... I'd like to say.. Of course that was me in your dream! Who else! Just out of curiousity.. What did I do in your dream.. and what did I look like? Big, powerful, with a mighty mane?

I'm thinking it is almost time for another contest.. This time I'm going to take suggestions. A contest contest! Everyone suggests what they want to do for a context, and I pick one, and remodel it to fit my theme. There will be no points for the contest contest, but the winner will have an advantage over the others since he/she was the one to pick it.

I also would like to send out a hug and a nuzzle to Hannah, who has just been on a funeral. We all love you, Hannah. I'm certain the others will back that up.

I still have some more Russia pictures to hand out. Here you go. Today I will show you some of the people I was travelling with.

Yes I did travel with more people than this, but I can't show you everything in one go now can I?

Just because I am so nice I'll show you one more.
Doesn't Kyle have some scary similarities with Stalin? They must be related somehow.. or.. is he Stalin reborn?

Tell me what kind of contests you like

Murrowwrrr...

What is this!? Another entry the very day after my last one? Oh gosh! Just like the good old days. As I have stated before, I will update this place every time I A: Have the time and B: have something to say. Now that we got that cleared up I have got something to say.
In this school that I go to we learn to act. It is a very sophisticated technique that we learn. It is believed that in order to do the best acting we can, we must make our brains work just like the character's brain. In other words, not think about acting, not think about lines, but think about what the character thinks, both consiously and subconsiously. Every character has an impression of his life until now, along with all the sense data and purposes. We teach our brains to be able to live another person's life in our heads and recieve all the senses the character did when going from birth until now. It is quite an amazing thing.
When the preparations are done, the character's life needs to be kept fresh. This can be easilly done by just spending 3 minutes living the life in one's head.

Can you imagine how wonderfully cozy and beautiful it is to do this when playing a lion? When doing the 3 minute thing I found myself after 5 minutes to still be 2 months old all snuggled up with mommy. Having the feelings, the senses and emotions in that moment of that life is so... awwww! NICE! I just wanted to keep doing it.

Ahhh.

Oh well, you want to see more Russia pictures? Okie dokie. You can still click the images for larger versions.

These are a bunch of acting students and one teacher sitting in the hotel.

Here is what the hotel had to offer in ways of recreation. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was funny. Apart from this the lobby had a prostitute corner.

The rich Russian countryside. This was near Chekhov house.

Here is a little buddy of mine I met at the Moscow Circus. Ain't he just adorable! He really liked me! He tried to squirm away from most people who came up but the keepers could hardly get him away from me (and it wasn't just me holding on either).

More to come!

Asian gifts.

Japanese people.. Don't get me wrong, I like them.. but they can be confusing.. Not just because of how they talk but their ways of life are a mystery. A couple of days ago Kayoko came in to my room around midninght. She asked me

"Peetah.. Havea yuo seenu tha furidge?"
(Peter, have you seen the fridge?)

"Uhh.. no..."

"Yuo can look on the Peetah sheluf in tha furidge."
(You can look at Peter's shelf in the fridge)

"Uhhh.. ok.."

"I put appul there. You like? I givea yuo."
(I put an apple there. Do you like it? I will give you.)

"... ok.. Thanks."

I went to look at the Peetah sheluf and yes. There was an apple on a small saucer.. There was a smiley face carved into the apple.. Nice.. fun gesture.. I wonder what kind of japanese symbolism she might be using... Two days later I find a pear, also with a carved smiley face on the Peetah sheluf. This one also had eyebrows by the way..
Oh well.

We had an accent class today.. One excersice included the class being divided into pairs.. and one would mimic the other in a sentance.
Agnes was supposed to say my line
"I have three rehearsals tonight" In my accent.
She did. The teacher asked everyone to give feedback.
Adrian raised his hand and said "Agnes sounded a little too much like a man."
o.O
"HEY!" I said.

As I have promised.. I will now show you pictures of my trip to Mother Russia (Not MY mother.. but still Russia.)
I shall start with some generic pictures. in this entry. You can click on these images for larger versions.

This is me at Red Square, with bags, cameras and hats hanging all over me.
(Notice the square is not as red as one might assume)
This is the cathedral on Red Square. The Tsar hired the two best architects in the world to build it. When they were done he poked out their eyes. Nice guy.

And this is James by the Moscow City Library.
These are a bunch of birds by the Moscow City Library.

More to come in the next exciting episode of The Journal of NorthLion!

Hear me Roar!

I am Peter, hear me roar!
I have stated before that I am letting myself be overworked again this term, perhaps even more so than last. But you know what? It's ok. I'm getting experience.
Shoko asked me if I could be in her fairy tale.. This is what happened. (Shoko is a japanese girl)

"Peetah.. Will yuo bee in my faryutale?"
"You know.. I'm sorry, I am completely full up, I don't think I can..."
"You be playing lion."
"... ... Acctually I think I might have a few openings. I'll do it!"

So yupp.. I'll be playing a lion and I get to eat the main character. It was kinda fun when she was giving me the character-line and mindprint. She was sitting there telling me fact about lions. Me! The NorthLion. She had no facts that I did not already know. She told me about the first documented case of white lions born in Timbavati and I told her their names, the names of their parents, and their uncle. It's the part I was born to play, baby!

Sorry no new pictures today. I'll give you the Christmas Card I promised of the littleoak AKA Neko, AKA Joanna. And in the near future I'll shower you with pictures from my russia trip!

Merry belated Christmas. Or early Merry Christmas 2006!

Just to be fair, I'll give her bro some time in the spotlight. Here is big oak AKA C-Rate AKA Jocke.

Don't forget to Save the Cats everybody!

See ya!

New year, new me.

Well.. Everyone is a "new them" most of the time. The changes might be slight, but changes is what life is all about. The more the change, the more life. Just make sure changes you go through are for the better. Some things you don't want to change and fair enough, why fix what isn't borken? But never stop walking forward. You can take certain things with you, but never stop walking.
Wow, what an intro. Anyway, since my last entry I have been back to Sweden after having had a christmas party with people at the school. It was interesting having a big party on a stage with all actors. Everyone pretended to be eachother at times.

Flying back was a bit of a hassle since the plane couldn't land on the intended airport. We had to go on to another airport and the bastards didn't tell the people waiting for the passangers on the ground. What did I do in Sweden you ask?
Well for one, I worked. Gotta earn some dough, right? I hung out with the oaks, we played some video games, had some fun, me and Joanna played 'hunting' where I was the predator and she was the prey. She kept lying, claiming she wasn't in on the game, but she was playing! She acted just like prey when I was going for her! Ran away and hid and stuff.

I met some oldies, Kaj, Erik, Thomas and Thomas' brother Kim. That was a pleasant reminder of the times that were.

The Christmas holidays were spent enjoying some time with various relatives. Me and my two sisters went to see Narnia, which, despite some problems certain people love to whine about, was very enjoyable. It's Aslan, people! Aslan!
After the X-Mas days I went to the T-Hat and grooved with some of the old gang. Hannah, Patrik, Bjorn, Malin (not originally part of the old gang but certainly assimilated into it), Nefus, Niklas and even Neil made his way to the T-Hat for the holidays! We had a nice time, and promised to have one again soon (Sooner than one whole year anyway).
Hannah has just suffered a great personal tragedy and I made myself ready to be all the support she needed but she amazed me quite a bit with her strength regarding the whole thing She was definetly on top of things during the times we spent together. I just hope she doesn't bottle it all up and save it for when she is alone. Don't worry about exposing us to it, Hannah, we want to be part of it, because we are your friends and we want to be part of all aspects of your life, to enjoy the nice bits with you and help share the bad bits.
But I do understand. I realize I probably do the same thing. I most definetly do, I even remember a time when Hannah was trying to help me through a rough situation and even if it wasn't as rough as this one, I placed my bad emotions far away from everyone I knew and cared about. Now I realize that deception isn't what true friends want. They want you. All of you.
So Hannah, I will do my best to open up in the future. And please continue to be strong, but if you need to speak to someone I will make myself availbale (ok my ear might not be the most convienient one to contact at the moment but I will make myself available if you ask)
Next holiday we shall have fun!

These hawt eyes belong to Hannah. But what is she doing? Guess and you will see in my next entry (this isn't acctually a contest as Hannah can't compete. But the the first to get it right wille arn the respect of many)

New years was spent in Gotene with my sister's family and much snow fighting was involved. I flew back to England, came back to school and here I am. Back on track. Just to think.. next holiday I will be halfway through.
Oh by the way, we are doing some Kung-Fu in school. That is awsome! Also, I am working on version 16 of the horror script. I know I should have had it done sooner, but christmas was a very busy time, and applying the latest feedback took more work than I though. Rest assured that it is coming tough, and it is shaping up to be pretty great.
Until next time, Save the cats!
(I was gonna have a pic of the oaks here but they are back on my laptop. You'll see them in the next entry, I swear)
See ya!
