I am keeping a regular production journal but unfortunetly only for team members.. sorry. I'll coem back to this journal now and again, like now, to show something off! And I have another one planned pretty soon, so don't despair!

This one is for Rebecka, sort of a belated birthday present.
Yes, Rebecka, my parents and Rebecka's friend Alicia came to visit, but I won't need to tell you about it.. I'll just show you!

Of course I'll have a high quality copy ready for y'all soonish and as I said, I have one more planned shortly.

More of me!

Did you think I was gone? Well.. I wasn't!

I've graduated.. worked in some places.. done a few auditions and been in a short film.. At the moment I'm working at the school while sorting out some acting stuff.

I will not write a long long message today as it is late and I am tired. However, I did join a gym today and spent 3 hours working out, yay me! And the gym is right under where I work so I can pop in there a few hours after work every day. I also now live in a big room in a flat near Camden that is also pretty neat.

And I would like to congratualte Malin on her cub (son)! Now Ola is finally an uncle. I would post a picture, but I don't have one yet.

In other news, Sister Linda has opene dup an online diary herself! lookit! (Swedish only) I took that picture by the way.

Since it was such a short message after such a long time, I'll give you two bonus pictures you've probably already seen of the plays I acted in at school before graduation. I was Van Helsing in Dracula.. and Thomas Putnam in the Crucible!

Actually.. I'll give you yet another bonus you've probably already seen. My film!

Until next time...

Am I ready?

Throughout my time here I have had this lingering doubt in my head. Am I ready? Will I ever be ready? Can I acctually do this?

I've had ups, I've had downs, good work, bad work but the last few weeks I've decided; Sod it! I AM ready! I CAN do this! And guess what.. my work got better than ever it had been before. It seems that the thought "Am I ready?" is what prevented me from being ready. the last 4 weeks I have had more progress in the school than the previous 3 years, Amazing. We had the exam.. I got great feedback. We had the showcase.. I had even better feedback. We had the summarise of my education with the acting commitee... and the feedback was overwhealmingly positive. Then we had the singing concert where I perfromed some dancing and singing from musicals.. and I heard a comment was made "I can see all of these people can make it big in the industry, especially him" (reffering to me).

Am I ready? Do I want to be ready? Yes. And that makes me ready.

Learn from this. I could have been ready years ago, it was doubt that kept me back. What if I had stoped doubting myself a year ago? Two years ago? Don't ask yourself if you are ready, just be ready! I am!

Also I directed a short film in Film Making class.. It is not done yet, bu it looks great! Have some pictures!

There you go. Now I'm off to Sweden for midsummer holiday! Should be really good!

The Saga Adventures - part 3 - the Return of Saga Again

Oh, Woe is me. My camera is experiencing problems and is in need of repair. Today's pictures were taken with a crappy conpact camera... ok, pretty good to be a compact cam, but some pictures that could have been lovely ended up.. meh..
Oh well..
All we got pictures of is the visit to the zoo. Here goes.
Yeah.. I really wish I had my own camera...

I mean really.. slow autofocus through glass and fences, with crappy exposure to boot. Such lovely photo opportunities.. Oh well... At least we got to see them. Her husband by the way is eating in prviacy at the moment.

Again... Didn't have a chance to take a 'good' picture of this.. But Saga found this so amazing I just had to include it. That monkey over there... Flew at her after she knocked on the window.. He jumped at her and smashed int to the window.. Then threw a cocnut at her. She laughed like a... crazy person.

I did manage to get some nice pictures of birds. Some more will follow.
hehehe.. hehe.

HAHAHAHA! Silly bird!

I don't know about you but that stare just creeps me out!

It seems we came.. in the middle of.. dinner.

That's all for Sagas trip to London! I'll finish with a cute piccie of her!

From yesterday.. the ice cream.. you know.
We had Pizza at my place before.. Lizzie came to play with her again.
Byeeee Saga, visit again soon!

The Saga Adventures - part 2 - the Return of Saga

Main things.. Science museum, hamleys, teddybears, made her own teddybear (not the huge one) ate at Busaba-Eatai where they gave her a flower to put in her hair, went to see the marvelous statues at Trafalgar Square, and had ice cream.
Here are some pictures.

This last picture is brilliant, if I do say so myself.

The Saga Adventures

Don't despair too much, but this entry will not be about me, but about Saga, visiting London!
Piccies piccies piccies! This will not have my nmal layout as it is more of a.. bunch of pifctures. Here goes...

Saga and Lizzie! After an hour of intense and quiet staring at eachother, they got along real well. Saga spoke Swedish, Lizzie spoke English.. yet somehow they understood each other.

Playing!

Off-topic picture. On the way to the fair we went to, we saw a sign of a very interesting shortcut taken with a heavy veichle.

At the fair, Saga did many things. Here she decorated a picture frame.

List of things to do on the first time out of the country without mommy or daddy. Number one: Get a tattoo.

Number 2: Decorate a cookie. This one is important.

Happy as she looks with these fine chocolate Eclairs, she refused to even taste them.

Another Off-topic picture.. I just thought it turned out quite nicely. It's Paddington Station.

Main attraction of the day. Dress-purchase at the Disney store! Here is Saga/Sleeping beauty! Let's have some more of those acctually! (notice the sparkle in the ear-ring. Very Disneyesque)

That's all for today! Tomorrow the Adventure continues.

Back from the.. busy.

Not really back from the busy.. but.. at least here visiting.

School. and lots of it. Well I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact I think I should use even more time in school than I do. I'm sorry about the effect it has on this journal, but hey, I only have a couple of months left to go.

I am now the current Student Vice Principal of the school, which gives me a bit of authority, and lets me practise my sense of responsability. To be honest, I quite like being "The Man".

OK, so what has been going on.. whoa.. loads.. ok, we had that lesson with Kevin Spacey.. seems like ages ago, and it was. It was fun, interesting and very informative. It was quite amusing acctually, the lengths he went to to make a "cool" entrance. We had a warm-up session with his assistant before our lesson with Kevin, and that session ended with all of us relaxing and closing our eyes. While our eyes were closed he snuck in, took a relaxed, nonchalant pose, leaning against the wall with a fresh cup of coffee. It has a nice effect, but the knowledge that he must have snuck in with the effect in mind made it seem quite silly.. but in a funny way. Anyway, he knows what he's talking about and is a decent down-to-earth and friendly guy.

Among many many parts I've played between then and now, Winston Churchill is one of them. And I got great feedback for it! That baby is going on my CV! About that, by the way, I've rewamped http://www.petersunnergren.com/ to look more professional! Some pictures of me, and stuff and in the future there will be a showreel, voice sample among other things.

Wow.. I've almost been here three years now. Time really has flown past and soon I'm out there trying to get an agent. Hopefully that will go pretty smoothly. Right now, the main play we're working on is Dracula. Our director, Thomas Garvey, is a really talented guy, and he is writing the script himself, with some of our input, based on the original novel by Bram Stoker. There is even a chance we might take the play on a tour in Sweden! If we do I will be sure to put the info up here as soon as I know the details!
I don't remember wether or not I posted my heroic act on here.. maybe I didn't..

Here goes.
I was on a bus with a friend from school in one of London's tougher areas. Suddenly a girl was thrown onto the bus while it was stoped. She was bleeding from different places in her face and she said something about people taking her phone. Right after she had been thrown into the bus, the door closed and we started rolling. I ran up to the driver and told him to stop the bus. He refused the first time, so I had to shout a little at him to make him come around. When the bus stopped, me and another guy on the bus jumped off and ran after the muggers while my schoolfriend called the police. We cought up to a group of late-teens to early twenties gangsta' girls. I was surprised. I asked, sounding as strict as I could "Alright, who took her phone?" they looked at me in a kind of bitchy hollywood girl-gangsta' kinda way and one told me they didn't know what I was talking about, and one said that she wa snaughty and deserved it. At this point they had started to surround me. I counted about fifteen of them. and to be honest, as I counted, I expected to see the other guy who came off the bus with me, covering my back. Instead I saw his back, from a distance, getting the hell away from there. At that point I realized; "Hey! I'm confronting a gang of fifteen muggers. OK, they are girls, but.. fifteen of them... whops." Maybe the guy was right to run...

I decided that showing fear was probably not the best idea in the world, so I sized up to the one that stood right in front of me, and raised my voice saying "I asked, which one of you fucking cunts beat that poor girl up and took her phone!?" I knew it was a little bit of a dangerous tactic, but it worked. I've used it before when my neighbour's dog attacked me. You show no fear and the enemy starts to think that they should be afraid. They all backed off a bit, and started blaming each other. So now I had another problem. It was impossible for me to find out who had done it, as they were all pointing fingers at each other. I hurried back to the bus to check if the police were on the way. I saw someone had given the victim an extra jacket. Now I could also see that she was missing a tooth, I guessed from the beating. My friend told me the police were on their way. At that point, I saw the gang get on another bus behind ours. I ran out of my bus but I couldn't make it to the other bus in time. The doors closed and the bus left. I ran to our busdriver and ask if he could radio the other bus, or at least forward a message about it to the central. The driver just sat back and said "Nah mate, it's from another garage." I didn't quite believe him, but couldn't do ayhting about his lack of willingness to help. Luckily, at that point I saw a police-car apporach. I ran back onto our bus, grabed the girl's hand and took her with me, I stoped the poilce car, told them "This is the victim. The muggers got on the 19 Bus, it just left! If you go now you can catch them!"

The police quickly pulled the victim into the backseat of their car and sped away, I saw them get on the radio just as they left.I got back to the bus and told the driver it was ok to leave. At the next stop, we saw the bus that the muggers had got on... pulled over, and surrounded by poice-cars. the gang was out there, all being searched by the police.

That gave me and my friend a nice warm feeling. We had done something good.I told my landlord about it when I got home. the next day, I found a bottle of nice wine in my room. Not everyone cares about doing good in this world.. but apaprently some do. even those who don't go out of their way to change the world, can still encourage those who do.

I should be a superhero!

Not so many pictures in this entry.. but at least you got loads of text. You know I kinda feel bad about it.. I'll give you a nice piccie of Moffe the Wonder Dog.

Blast From the Past X

Heya! Here I am! I am still around! This is my last year of school and so it is very very busy. That means I won't have time to update this journal very often.. I will do it every now and then though, as you see here.
I'll just give you a quick update. I lost some weight, gained some skills, and the stage combat license I got looks like this:

We are also to meet Kevin Spacey again in about two weeks, as hee is going to teach an Audition Class.

It is now time for a very special Blast from the past;
Blast From the Past X (10)
I checked out my old -helgon diary and picked out a few entries to posthere, for people who were not yet reading about my adventures on the British isles at the time. Here goes:

Holy wow
20/11 04
This school is more than I bargined for. I mean.. drama school.. I would expecty some movement and some drama stuff.. but the technique of learning drama here is IMMENSE! Advanced psychology of how to.. hmm.. damn.. I can’t even explain it.. but it’s really cool.
And the yoga and the acrobatics.. I can do some freaky shit now that I couldn’t before.

England is a weird palce though...
Blind people get 50% off the TV license fee. Great!

The school takes up most of my life... but it’s all good. I get to act quite a bit, and it’s a lot of fun! I am about to go practise walking on stilts.. I’m going to play a really tall monk.

Tootles.. or something.

Sneaking? Sneaking!
23/01 05
What-ho? People whose identity is unknownst to me have read my diary!
What is this! Strangers in my house? Shrouded shadows of oblivion haunting my documented past?
It’s not that I am against people reading my diary.. If I did I would be quite a stupidass motherfucker for putting it on the internet. But I would like for people I don’t know or haven’t spoken to for a long time to drop a line in my mailbox or guestbook upon readin up on who I am.
Would be nice.. just sayin’
And if you don’t want to.. that’s ok I guess... but.. well. BURN IN HELL!
nono.. I’m sorry.. I am so very very.. FUCK YOU!
no! bad me! bad me!
Really, I am flattered that people want to know about lil’ old me, but don’t be shy.. say hello!
Bye!

Dear diary
24/01 05
Today I wrote ”dear diary” in my diary, and thus drastically lost 20 masculinity points. Damn.

2 Seconds
25/01 05
Is that a long time.. or a short time?
I suppose that depends on what you are doing. If it takes 2 seconds to paint a house it’s pretty fucking fast. Then again if it takes 2 seconds for a fallen object to hit the floor, it’s very very slow. or high up.
But.. Today I did an unsupported handstand lasting for 2 seconds. Rising from 0, it is quite a bit.

Skol-Akademin
26/01 05
So the school is changing names... The principal died and his daughter took over. There’s going to be a few changes. The name will no longer be ”The School of the Science of Acting”, but ”The Academy of the Science of Acting and Directing”
There will be more focus on film, and TV work. Also they will hire more famous people in the profession to come and hold some workshop classes and give advice. We will also get to talk to casting agents and stuff.
There is also talk about doing short film projects, and collabortaing with other schools on them (for producers, editors etc)

We had our last Alexander Technique today. We only did 6 classes (we were only supposed to do one but it proved to be so great they decided to go on for a bit) I have suggested to put it on the schedule as a normal class because I see how great it could be for the profession of an actor to be skilled in the Alexander Technique. That and we had a really cool teacher. Fumiaki Tanaka. Japanese guy with long hair. To learn something physical is always cooler if the teacher is japanese. My own Mr. Myiagi. Only this guy was younger than Mr Myiagi. And had long hair... in a ponytail.. He looked like a fighter from an anime. I bet he’s some sort of superhero.
I hope they listen to our pleading and bring him and his teachings back to the school to stay.
After a class of AT I end up an inch taller... it’s only temporary but it’s pretty fucking cool.

Oh my god this entry is getting long! I must stop soon before I-

The Kev from Space
04/02 05
We’re going to see Kevin Spacey! Yay! As an education thingie for the school.
We’re going to see a play he is in, and then we will talk to him and the director. That rocks.
Did a good rehersal today.. Ben’s play is funny... I hope he does turn it into a short film.
I have Swedish Greve cheese in school... Claire said it was in one of her dreams the other night. so I just said ”What, you’re dreaming of my cheese?” and everyone laughed.
As we say in Sweden... Konstigt.

Laradidida dada dada
10/02 05
I am da Waltz Mazta! Ph33r my |337 Waltz skillz!

And I tried a new crisp flavour today (chips smak for all you Swedish bretheren)

Pickled Onion

It tasted worse than crap.
I had one, then gave the rest to Kyle.
He agreed with me... then he ate them all. Silly Americans.

I am spiderman... no more.
28/02 05
It is done.
My hair is in a plastic bag by my bed.
It is weird, I tell you.
Really strange. I will meditate to make it grow faster.
My head is unprotected!

Word of the day
30/05 05
Swedish word of the day that needs no Swedish characters.: Saltgurka.

Notice: This entry does not in any way imply that the author of this diary has any liking for pickles. Because I don’t.

The secret of loosing weight.
31/05 05
Going to a physically demanding school with an empty wallet has made me lose a lot of my excess weight. People ask me ”What is your secret?”

Come on people!
You want to know the secret? Do you really want to know what the secret is?
Ok, here it is.
The secret to loosing weight is to stop looking for a fucking secret!
There is no secret way of easy weight loss!
Work your ass off, and your ass will come off! Simple!

Im ok
07/07 05 (the day of the London bombings)
Just thought I’d get the word out in case people were worrying. I’m not blown to bits so far.

Another thing.. What makes this blast from the past special.. A memorial.

Fiolvägen 9, my old childhood home is no longer in the family. It was a beatiful house and it was good to me. But it is time to move on. Time for the house to be good to another family and for me to move towards my future.

Good bye old friend. I'll come visit you some day.

Do not think this is all doom and gloom. Leaving the past is the only thing that can bring us to a great future. Always respect and remember your past... But do not live in it.

Save the cats!

See ya!
