Yeah yeah, I'm comin'

It's not that nothing has happened the last week, it's just that I've been to busy to make an entry. Here I am though. Safe and sound.

To tell you the truth, not much out of the ordinary has happened either. Wchool and stuff. Two things to report I guess. Kayoko has moved back to Japan (bye bye) and I have started my mission of learning how to draw. I have a few pictures which I will reluctantly show you. They are not very good, unless you consider the fact that they are my first. Here goes.
Yea, I have problems with proportions, hands, basic geometric shapes and all that jazz. But hey, I'm gonna practise.
About that, how's about another art contest as Littleoak suggested? You guys make a lion! Could be a cartoon, painting, sketch, manga style or whatever. Naturalistic or humanoid, you choose. One thing you will have to include is info on the picture/character.
Some background, some personal stuff, describe the world and surroundings he/she lives in. Let your creativity flow! Good ideas are as important as good art skills! I will give you two weeks. It doesn't have to be more elaborate than you want to make it.

Anyway, I do have more pictures from Russia.

--Drama students in the Kremlin!
Barbara liked the Kremlin.--

--Big gun!

This is a bird that lives in the Kremlin.--

--The Kremlin seen from the outside.

That's all I have for you today! Drop a comment, Save the cats and then start working on your contribution to the little contest.

See ya!

Typo Village

The other day we went to an island called Angelsey. We visited a village called.... LlanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllLlantysiliogogogoch.
Bloody hell. It must have been named by a cat on a keyboard!
Let me tell you something about English Breakfasts. First the word breakfast. Break the fast. Break the time of no eating, reffering to night time. Bacon, Sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms, black pudding and egg. And tea. They have this breakfast on days when they don't want to stop for lunch. It works. By the time the sun sets I'm still digesting breakfast.

We saw hut circles where people lived 2500 years ago and watched over high cliffs. Pretty cool.

The next day we went to Blackpool. Had some English Lunch and took a walk on the beach. I found a bit of polished glass.
I think during the last couple ofdays I have had more tea than I have in my whole life prior to this holiday.

Here is the picture that Hannah made for me. These characters are the characters we played in the old Vampire Live Roleplaying game. She made a comicbook cover! It is sooo cool! (Just so there are no confusions, I played the one on the right)
I'll tell you all about these characters later.

The Welsh.

Here I am in the north. I got on a bus a bit over 24 hours ago, went to visit Dee, Gra, Zoe and Aidan and all the animals. 7 cats and 3 dogs. Having a good time. Just to clear things up, they are not Welsh, I'm staying with them in Cheshire. They say that the welsh are odd people. There are a lot of sheep in whales... and they all look very frightened. I wonder what that means.
Anyway they took me to whales today and showed me some lovely scenery and an abbey. They will show me more stuff every day until I go back on Wednesday. I'll try to update this thing every day until then.

Guess what!? Kyle, the reinkarnation of Stalin, has had a baby! This is baby Vanessa. The labour lasted 15 minutes. Woosh!

I will put the russia pictures on hold, since I have these lovely English pictures to show you.

As an extra treat, Melus made me a nice cartoony picture of me!
She calls me "Guran" for speaking... about stuff with her. And here is the piccie.
Thanks!!

Also, Hannah gave me a really cool pic, but Alas, I have as of yet no digital copy of it. I shall show it to you when I do.

More russiapics in about a week.

Powerpuff!

New entry! I'll just lay some news and some russiapics on ye. I discovered a fantastic webcomic! The PowerPuff Girls!!! It is absolutely genious! The characters from the PowerPuff Girls and a lot of other Catrtoon Network series such as Dexter's Lab, Grim, Samurai Jack etc etc. All set some years later in a cute but gritty anime story. Wonderful, just wonderful!
Warning by the way. Today's russia-pictures might not be suitable for the weak-of-heart.

More stuff.. Yesterday morning I woke up to see Kayoko and Ruriko clean the house. I offered some help and they looked at me as if I was a cat offering to make dinner for a family of mice. A man offering to do housework was the freakiest thing they ever saw.

Littleoak has suggested an art contest and/or a quiz. What would you rather do, paint a picture of a lion or another kind of feline, or answer questions about same subject? Tell me! (Guest star on the left if Moffe the Wonderdog!)

In Moscow, my school put on a play, in which I did the lighting.
The play was Popcorn by Ben Elton. It had lots of Sex and Violence.

This is Sacha. He played the psychotic massmurderer Wayne. Would you invite this man over for crumpets? (The head in the plastic bag isn't real)

Agnes played Brooke. She was a supermodel, and as you see here, is shot in the stomach. The pic was taken after the play while Agnes was not in character (If you look carefully you will notice that she is not lying down).

The play had a really groovy epilouge scene with freaky light. It was very well recieved and many russians loved it, even though most couldn't even speak English.

Closeup on... Blood... on the wall... By the phone. I just though this picture looks kinda cool.

That's all for today! The secret stuff I won't tell you on the ground that it is secret, and you need to ask, and have access to highly classified information. Anyway, Save the cats!

Another Odd Dream

I had an odd dream last night. All the places had melted together.. I was in Bjorn's and Hannah's apartments.. they were right next to each other, and there was no wall between them.. but they were still different appartments.. It was still school term, but it was ok, because London was just outside even though we were in Trollhattan. I was resting on Hannah's sofa while both Bjorn and Hannah were playing World of Warcraft. I felt a little left outside and wanted to try and play.. There seemed to be a computer free with WoW installed on it, but I didn't know how to play. Luckily, Boris offered to teach me, since Hannah had tought him everything about WoW. For some reason a cat teaching me to play WoW seemed more amazing than the fact that I could talk to cats.
What does this mean?
Oh well. meow.

More Russia pics!
Buncha' commies makin' some sorta' fuzz 'bout summin'
This is a wall.. in a Moscow Subway station. whoa.

Sorry.. more pics next time, now I have to run to school.

Week by week

It has been a week like most weeks. Now I am waiting to show a piece and then to rehearse Shoko's wonderful fairytale in which I play.. well.. me really.. almost... rowr...
By the way, Conny, as response to your... blog... I'd like to say.. Of course that was me in your dream! Who else! Just out of curiousity.. What did I do in your dream.. and what did I look like? Big, powerful, with a mighty mane?

I'm thinking it is almost time for another contest.. This time I'm going to take suggestions. A contest contest! Everyone suggests what they want to do for a context, and I pick one, and remodel it to fit my theme. There will be no points for the contest contest, but the winner will have an advantage over the others since he/she was the one to pick it.

I also would like to send out a hug and a nuzzle to Hannah, who has just been on a funeral. We all love you, Hannah. I'm certain the others will back that up.

I still have some more Russia pictures to hand out. Here you go. Today I will show you some of the people I was travelling with.

Yes I did travel with more people than this, but I can't show you everything in one go now can I?

Just because I am so nice I'll show you one more.
Doesn't Kyle have some scary similarities with Stalin? They must be related somehow.. or.. is he Stalin reborn?

Tell me what kind of contests you like

Murrowwrrr...

What is this!? Another entry the very day after my last one? Oh gosh! Just like the good old days. As I have stated before, I will update this place every time I A: Have the time and B: have something to say. Now that we got that cleared up I have got something to say.
In this school that I go to we learn to act. It is a very sophisticated technique that we learn. It is believed that in order to do the best acting we can, we must make our brains work just like the character's brain. In other words, not think about acting, not think about lines, but think about what the character thinks, both consiously and subconsiously. Every character has an impression of his life until now, along with all the sense data and purposes. We teach our brains to be able to live another person's life in our heads and recieve all the senses the character did when going from birth until now. It is quite an amazing thing.
When the preparations are done, the character's life needs to be kept fresh. This can be easilly done by just spending 3 minutes living the life in one's head.

Can you imagine how wonderfully cozy and beautiful it is to do this when playing a lion? When doing the 3 minute thing I found myself after 5 minutes to still be 2 months old all snuggled up with mommy. Having the feelings, the senses and emotions in that moment of that life is so... awwww! NICE! I just wanted to keep doing it.

Ahhh.

Oh well, you want to see more Russia pictures? Okie dokie. You can still click the images for larger versions.

These are a bunch of acting students and one teacher sitting in the hotel.

Here is what the hotel had to offer in ways of recreation. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was funny. Apart from this the lobby had a prostitute corner.

The rich Russian countryside. This was near Chekhov house.

Here is a little buddy of mine I met at the Moscow Circus. Ain't he just adorable! He really liked me! He tried to squirm away from most people who came up but the keepers could hardly get him away from me (and it wasn't just me holding on either).

More to come!
